Product FAQ
What is the bumper made of?
The front bumper is constructed from hot-stamped boron steel (HSBS) with an original-quality, multi-stage e-paint/powder-coat finish for maximum corrosion and UV resistance. Hot-stamped boron steel is an ultra-high-strength, mold-hardened steel commonly used for passenger crash protection in automotive applications due to its light weight and extremely high yield strength.
What type of finish is used on the Front Bumper?
We use a multi-stage powder coat process on these front bumpers which offers far superior UV and corrosion resistance. It can keep your bumper looking good for years to come. Additionally, great attention was paid to ensuring that standing water is able to drain out properly and exposed hardware was kept to a minimum.
Will it fit factory skid plate?
Compatible with the OEM ski plates.
How do I maintain my Jeep’s bumper?
Maintaining your Jeep bumper is key to extending the life and performance of your Jeep. Regular cleaning, rust prevention and protective coating are crucial to steel bumpers. After off-road, your Jeep and bumper need to be cleaned. Regularly check bolt tightness and corrosion and replace any corroded hardware. Use touch-up paint to remove rust and scratches.
Can I install a Jeep bumper myself?
Our bumpers do not require any drilling for installation and are not complex products, so they can be put on the Jeep with simple shop tools. But they can also be pretty heavy. So, having someone else around will make that installation much easier.
